Boatmec Marine Engineering was established in 2008 by David Taylor after an impressive engineering career over 12 years as a Volvo construction
then a Volvo Penta Engineer. He then moved to one of Ireland's largest marine sales companies as a senior engineer. Following this he became a
Volvo Penta service dealer as Boatmec Marine Engineering and quickly moved into premises shortly after due to a large demand from customers for
workshop based repairs.
After attending the London boat show 2008 Boatmec were granted very prestigious engine dealerships. We started our apprentice and another engineer to continue
our high level of service required due to our customers demands. 2008 to 2010 were very successful years for us with more government contracts coming
on board and also building a very good customer base in leisure and commercial sectors.
To date we are working hard with the Belfast Harbour, MGM Boats, MGM Marine, Loughs Agency and Craigavon Borough Council as well as all our cruising
and power boat customers to make sure all they have to worry about is the weather.
Moving into 2011 we are continuing our high level of customer service with a third vehicle on the road as well as a new Service Manager in Gordon Taylor
and another apprentice.
